This is a hands-on, early stage opportunity to define and significantly develop a major business opportunity for one of the largest jewelry retailers in the world.

Diamonds International is looking for an eCommerce Manager, Merchandising & Order Management. This role will be the primary visual merchandiser of our retail website, including responsibilities of managing product selection, pricing, promotion, sell-thru and order management. The ideal candidate will understand and meet customer expectations, be a problem-solver, strong project manager and be comfortable partnering with merchandising, marketing and IT teams to improve efficiency, customer experience and business performance.


Partner with in-house Merchandising team to ensure product selection, availability and pricing are aligned with overall business strategy and complements in-store selling strategies

Primary liaison and project lead between Merchandising, Marketing and web development teams to ensure optimal customer experience and business performance

Manage product catalog including initial product set-up (sku, pricing, descriptions, categorization, tagging, images, etc), acquiring new items, managing product life cycle, selling down and/or discontinuing non-performing items

Inventory management including product mix, sku counts, item replenishment from in-house

Merchandising team and 3 rd party vendors and processing invoices

Oversee inventory reconciliations to ensure product quantities are properly accounted for

Order management: responsible for order entry into multiple systems, review and confirmation of orders, fulfillment, packaging, shipping and returns

Interact with, and guide, website Customer Service team. Provide insight and direction to resolve

customer inquiries and/or complaints

Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams to develop compelling promotional and/or feature campaigns designed to drive traffic and sales, especially for holidays, special occasions and dedicated marketing initiatives

Examine site regularly to ensure product catalog is set up accurately, products are categorized correctly, promotions are functioning properly and links lead to the correct product/category pages

Utilize Google Analytics and other reporting tools to monitor KPI s and identify areas of opportunity


Bachelor s degree (Business Management, Analytics or Marketing emphasis preferred)

3-5 years of relevant experience in e-commerce site merchandising and order management

Demonstrated ability to utilize data to drive creative and merchandising decisions

Ability to lead and influence in a fast-paced retail environment, be customer-focused, work well alone and within a team

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with un-prompted follow-through

Capable of learning and navigating through many systems

Proficient in the use of website content/order management dashboards, analytics tools & KPIs

Proficient with Microsoft Office, with high proficiency in Excel

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Jewelry or luxury goods experience is a plus but not required
